The San Diego Angel Conference attracts entrepreneurs from across the US to compete for a grand prize of $200K with over $500K more funding for runners-up. Angel Investors are also attracted to this opportunity to invest together as a collective, learn from each other and get EXCELLENT deal flow. Investors who participate (unit prices are at $5,500 + $500 educational fee) are approachable, actively investing/writing checks, open to connecting over a cup of coffee (or zoom), and “get to yes”. In deciding the Semifinalists, investors heard 3-min pitches from 24 startup companies ranging from biotech to consumer products to FemTech to EdTech. Out of the 24, 13 were selected.
